Saints Kickoff Run Presented by Hancock Whitney
The event takes place in New Orleans at Champions Square and includes in-person and virtual options. The live courses begin at Champions Square and finish on the 50-yard line of Caesars Superdome.
- 3.1 miles Live 5K and Virtual 5K
- 0.5 miles Kids Fun Run
The live 5K features a post-race gathering in Champions Square with live entertainment and a beer garden. Registered participants in the in-person 5K receive an official Saints 5K participant shirt and a finisher medal. Virtual entrants receive a race bib, a Saints tech tee, and a finisher medal mailed prior to race day when possible; delivery on or before race day is not guaranteed and shipping is included for virtual entries.
The Kids Fun Run is a half-mile course that also finishes on the Caesars Superdome 50-yard line; participating children receive a short-sleeved tee and a kid’s commemorative finisher medal.
The event includes a Team Challenge Cup that recognizes the largest teams with awards for the top three largest teams. The event supports the Louisiana National Guard Foundation and the National Guard Association of Louisiana; donations of ten dollars or more can be made to receive a special charity bib, with funds directed to those charities.
