Saint Louis Track Club Half Marathon and 5K
The Saint Louis Track Club Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Forest Park and returns on November 8, 2026. First run in 1980, this event is presented as the longest-running half marathon in the St. Louis region and marks its 47th edition in 2026.
Both races start and finish at the Muny Festival Grounds in Forest Park. The 5K route remains inside Forest Park. The Half Marathon route leaves the park and travels through The Grove neighborhood; the 2026 course shifts from S. Taylor Avenue to S. Newstead Avenue in The Grove.
Event offerings and logistics include custom finish medals for all finishers and shirts for registrations completed before October 20, 2026. Add-on merchandise options are also available.
Prize structure for the Half Marathon awards cash to the top three male and female overall finishers: 1st $500, 2nd $250, 3rd $100. Age group awards recognize the top three finishers in each listed age group. The 5K has overall awards for the top three male and female finishers. Non-binary cash awards are available for the Half Marathon if there is a competition pool of at least 10 runners; non-binary award options require registration by October 8 for some categories.
Packet pickup is offered before race day at Running Niche and the Forest Park Visitor Center, with additional pickup on race morning. A guest speaker who is an author and certified running, cycling and triathlon coach will present on November 6 about post-race performance evaluation.
