Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K
The Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Forest Park, with both races starting and finishing at the Muny Festival Grounds. The event returns for its 47th year on November 8, 2026, and is noted as the longest-running half marathon in the St. Louis region.

- 13.1 miles half marathon
- 5K road race
Both in-person races use an Open Start format that pairs a formal gun-start with a short window during which runners may begin. Virtual-only options are offered for both the half marathon and the 5K.
All finishers receive a custom medal. The half marathon awards prize money to the top three overall male and female finishers: $500 for first, $250 for second, and $100 for third. Age group awards recognize the top three male and female finishers in each age group from 19 & under through 70+. The 5K presents overall awards for the top three male and female finishers.
Packet pickup is scheduled at two locations: Running Niche at 1601 Tower Grove Avenue, and the Voyager Room in the Forest Park Visitors Center.
