Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K - event overview
The Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K takes place in Forest Park, Saint Louis, Missouri, on November 8, 2026. The event marks its 47th year and follows a road course that starts and finishes at the Muny Festival Grounds.
Distances offered include:
- 13.1 Miles half marathon (in-person and virtual)
- 5K (in-person and virtual)
The event uses an Open Start format that allows runners to begin within a short window after the formal gun. All finishers receive a custom medal. The half marathon awards prize money to the top three overall male and female finishers with $500 for first, $250 for second, and $100 for third. Age group awards recognize the top three finishers in each listed age group for male and female competitors. The 5K awards overall top three male and female finishers.
Packet pickup is scheduled at two locations before race day: Running Niche at 1601 Tower Grove Avenue in St. Louis, and the Voyager Room in the Forest Park Visitors Center. Race-day packet pickup is provided on the day of the event. Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026; published registration fees are $75 for the half marathon and $45 for the 5K.
