Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K: Forest Park, November 8, 2026
The Saint Louis Half Marathon and 5K is organized by the St. Louis Track Club and will take place in Forest Park on November 8, 2026. The event returns for its 47th year; the first edition was held in 1980, making it the longest running half marathon in the St. Louis region.
The event offers two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
Both distances start and finish at the Muny Festival Grounds. The 2026 course is modified from prior years and new course maps will be provided. An Open Start format is used for the races. A virtual participation option is available.
All finishers receive a custom medal. The half marathon awards prize money to the first, second, and third overall male and female finishers with amounts of $500, $250, and $100 respectively. Age group awards recognize the top three finishers in each age group from 19 and under through 70 and over. The 5K provides overall awards for the top three male and female finishers.
To guarantee a race shirt, registration must be completed by October 20, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, November 6 at Running Niche, 1601 Tower Grove Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110, and Saturday, November 7 at the Voyager Room in the Forest Park Visitors Center; specific times will be emailed to participants.
