Wurst Race Ever 5K/10K
The Saint Charles Oktoberfest Wurst Race Ever offers timed 5K and 10K events and an untimed short "Wurst Route Ever" during the Saint Charles Oktoberfest on September 27, 2026. The event takes place in Historic Saint Charles with start and finish in Frontier Park and a course that follows riverfront scenery.
The course is described as fast and flat and passes historic Main Street, the Frenchtown District, the Katy Trail, Frontier Park, and riverfront views of the Missouri River. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet St. Charles on Friday, September 25 (12:00pm–6:00pm) and Saturday, September 26 (10:00am–5:00pm), and at Frontier Park on event morning (6:30am–8:30am). Participants receive an official race shirt, a finisher medal, and a custom bib that includes one beverage ticket.
Awards are presented at the Jaycee Stage. For the 5K, awards go to first, second, and third overall male and female finishers, plus the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 19 & under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 & over. For the 10K, awards go to first overall male and female finishers and the top male and female in the same age groups.
