Saint Charles Oktoberfest Wurst Race Ever 5K/10K
The Saint Charles Oktoberfest Wurst Race Ever takes place on September 27, 2026 in Historic Saint Charles with the start and finish in Frontier Park at the Saint Charles Oktoberfest festival. The event offers timed road races and a short untimed route alongside festival activities.
The course is described as fast and flat and passes historic Main Street, the Frenchtown District, the Katy Trail, and riverfront views of the Missouri River. The event page lists the following options:

Registration for the timed runs and the untimed route includes an official race shirt, a finisher medal, and a custom bib with one beverage ticket. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet St. Charles on Friday, September 25 (12:00pm–6:00pm) and Saturday, September 26 (10:00am–5:00pm), and at Frontier Park on Sunday, September 27 (6:30am–8:30am).
Awards for the 5K will recognize first through third overall male and female finishers and the top three in multiple age groups. The 10K awards will recognize first overall male and female finishers and the top finisher by age group. Proceeds support Saint Charles Oktoberfest and the St. Charles Regional Chamber Foundation for workforce development and talent attraction initiatives.
