The race is integrated into "Spring Into Newburgh," a city-wide seasonal celebration. All participants are chip-timed by Mid-Hudson Timing, and results are published online. Recognition is provided for the top three overall finishers across male, female, and non-binary categories. Additionally, the first-place finishers in specific age divisions, ranging from under 9 to over 70, are recognized. There are also designated divisions for walkers and those participating with strollers.
