Sadler Arts Academy Veterans Memorial 5k
The Sadler Arts Academy Veterans Memorial 5k is the 14th annual running of the community event on November 7, 2026, at the Depot Green in the Arts District of Muskogee. The event honors retired and active duty service members and is organized by Sadler Arts Academy 7th and 8th grade with support from the City of Muskogee and the Muskogee Running Club.

- 1 Mile Fun Run Walk
- 5k Ruck and Run Challenge
Pre-registration fees are listed for each event and higher race day fees are available. T-shirts are provided to pre-registered participants; shirts on race day are available on a first come first serve basis. Finishers medals are awarded to all finishers of the Fun Run, 5k Run, and 5k Ruck and Run. Additional awards recognize the farthest traveled, the largest ruck group, the oldest veteran, and the youngest currently serving military member.
The Ruck and Run Challenge requires participants to carry their own ruck. Men are required to carry a minimum of 45 lb and women a minimum of 30 lb, and participants will stop at challenge stations along the 5k route. The 5k course is USATF certified.
