The Sachem Day 71st Anniversary 5K & Fun Run takes place on November 1, 2025 in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. The event is held at Sachem North High School, 212 Smith Rd., Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. The course includes a mix of pavement, grass and trail surfaces with occasional rolling hills. Proceeds benefit the Sachem PTA Council.

Registration options list an early price and a race-day price: the 5K is shown at $33.80 early and $44.15 on race day; the Fun Run is shown at $13.10. T shirts are guaranteed for 5K registrants who register by October 17. Personalized bibs and name-on-bib are offered for registrants who sign up at least three weeks before the event. Early bib pickup is scheduled for October 30, 2025 at Sachem School District Offices, Conference Room A; day-of pickup is available at Sachem North. Amenities include water and snacks, live text/email results, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories and there is a Team School Award for the largest team. Registration fees are non-refundable.
