Registration and entry
Base registration fees listed are $30 for the 5 Mile, 5K, and 5K untimed walk, and $20 for the 1 Mile family event. Fees increase on March 6 and again on race day; the 5 Mile and 5K prices increase to $35 on March 6 and $40 on race day. Registrants who sign up by April 5 can receive a personalized bib. Children 5 and under are free for the 1 Mile but must be registered. The 1 Mile includes a finisher ribbon; t-shirts are available while supplies last.
Course, logistics and awards
The 5M and 5K courses are mostly flat with a few inclines and three water stations on course. The 1 Mile is mostly flat with one steep incline at the midway point. Streets are not closed to traffic; volunteers and police will be on the course. Bib pickup is available the Friday and Saturday before the event and on race day. The 5 Mile awards include cash prizes for top three overall (1st $600, 2nd $350, 3rd $250) and age-group medals; the 5K and 1 Mile have age-group medals and ribbons respectively.
