Rye Derby YMCA 5K & 5M
The Rye Derby YMCA event is an annual community race day held at the Rye YMCA in Rye, New York. The program includes multiple distances and a family fun run, on-course water stations, participant shirts while supplies last, and on-site food and festivities.

The event offers awards and prizes for individual and team performances. The 5 Mile race awards cash prizes to the top three overall finishers with specified prize amounts and presents medals for the top two in multiple age groups. The 5K also awards top three overall and medals for age groups. All 1 Mile finishers receive ribbons. Team awards recognize fastest team, most creative attire, and most participants with a minimum team size required to qualify.
Course notes describe the 5 Mile and 5K as mostly flat with a few inclines and three water stations on course. The 1 Mile family run is mostly flat but includes a steep incline at the midpoint. Streets are not closed to traffic but volunteers and police will be present on the course. Early bib pickup and day of pickup options are provided.
