About the race
The Rye Summer Classic Series is a four-race running event held at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in East Sussex, offering 10k, 5k, and junior runs. Set against the stunning coastal landscape of one of Britain's treasured conservation sites, the course features flat, fast, and tarmac surfaces through shingle ridges, saltmarsh, reed-beds, and saline lagoons. The series takes place on the first Friday of June, July, August, and September, providing a friendly atmosphere ideal for both beginners and experienced runners.
