Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race One
This event is the first race in a five-race summer series held at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in East Sussex. The reserve covers interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons. Conditions on the reserve can be windy and, when favourable, fast times are possible.

Routes are on tarmac and described as flat and fast. The series runs across May, June, July, August and September; the 2026 programme adds a fifth race in May. Entrants can enter single races or buy a series entry. Series entries include a t-shirt.
Fees for single race entries on the day are listed as £25 for the 10k, £20 for the 5k and £7 for the Junior run, subject to availability. Series pricing is published separately and varies by affiliation status. Event information is sent to registered entrants prior to each race.
Finishers receive bespoke medals for the 10k and 5k and a finisher medal for the Junior run. Trophies are also awarded as part of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
