Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race Two
Race Two takes place at The Point, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Rye, East Sussex, TN31 7TU. It is the second event in a five race summer series held on the reserve on the following dates: Friday 08 May 2026, Friday 05 June 2026, Friday 10 July 2026, Friday 07 August 2026 and Friday 04 September 2026. The full series can only be booked before the May race takes place.
The course runs on tarmac and is described as flat and fast. The route crosses a coastal mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed beds and saline lagoons. Conditions on the reserve can be windy; if conditions are favourable, quick times are possible. The event includes a chip timed junior race and aims to provide a friendly race day atmosphere.

Included items for entrants vary by entry type and include a bespoke medal, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and T shirts for series entries only. On the day entry fees are £25 for the 10k, £20 for the 5k and £7 for the junior run. Event information will be sent to registered entrants prior to race day.
