Romney Marsh 10K
The Romney Marsh 10K is organised by Nice Work on behalf of the Romney Marsh Rotary Club. The event uses flat tarmac country lanes around the town of New Romney in Kent. The last 30 m of the course to the finish is on grass. The race is held under UK Athletic Rules and the course carries a certificate of accuracy.
Route details and downloadable maps including GPX files are provided for entrants. Parking is available at Marsh Academy in Station Road about five minutes from the start. There is also on-street parking in New Romney and two council car parks in the town. Entrants are asked to allow time to collect race numbers and reach the start.
The event programme includes a main 10 km race plus a children’s dash. Included for finishers are a bespoke medal, free parking, and cash prizes of £50 for the first man and the first woman. On the day entry fees listed are £25 for the 10k and £7 for the children’s dash, subject to availability.
