Romney Marsh 10K
The Romney Marsh 10K is a road race organised by Nice Work on behalf of the Romney Marsh Rotary Club. It is based at St Martin's Field, Fairfield Road, New Romney, Kent, and uses the flat tarmac country lanes around the town. The final 30 metres to the finish are on grass.
The event is held under UK Athletic Rules and the course carries a certificate of course accuracy. The organiser lists a bespoke medal, a cash prize of £50 for the first man and the first woman, and free parking among the included items. Route maps and GPX files are made available.
The event programme includes multiple distances:
- 10k
- Children's Dash
Participant feedback in the event information notes scenic rural views, a generally flat and fast course, and a friendly atmosphere with active marshalling. Several reports mention water stations provided on the route and a village parking area; on-the-day entry is subject to availability. The race is organised to support local causes and community activities linked to the Romney Marsh Rotary Club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
