Ryan's Race 5K walk Run
Ryan's Race 5K walk Run takes place on May 17, 2026 at Odessa High School, 570 Tony Marchio Drive, Townsend, Delaware. The event is listed as both a general 5K run/walk and a separate competitive walking 5K.

Registration details show open registration from Feb 4 to May 17 and a standard 5K entry fee. Sponsor packages are offered, including a $500 option that includes name and logo on the race shirt and a $300 option that includes name on the race shirt. The competitive walking entry requires participants to walk the entire course; runners who plan to run or mix running and walking must register for the 5K run/walk.
Chip timing will be used with the MYLAPS BibTag system and results will be posted online during and after the event. Awards include top overall and masters scored by gun time, other age groups scored by chip time, top three in 10 year age groups from 13 and under through 70 and over, and awards for top three male and female walkers. Amenities listed include race shirts and post race refreshments and music. A course map is provided and race photos will be posted by the organizer after the event.
