Ryan Steidl Memorial MK5K Run/Walk - 22nd Annual
The Ryan Steidl Memorial 22nd Annual MK5K Run/Walk is scheduled for April 26, 2026 in Denville, New Jersey. The event is based across from Saint Clare's Hospital at 25 Pocono Road. The race course will follow the same route used in previous years. All registrants receive a race T shirt if they sign up before the stated deadline.
Multiple 5K entry categories are offered, including general MK5K, a field restricted to Morris Knolls students staff and alumni, an under 18 category, and a USATF New Jersey members category. Registration for most events opens January 31, 2026. Published entry fees vary by category.
Proceeds benefit the Morris Knolls Baseball Booster scholarship program the Morris Knolls baseball team and the Ryan Steidl Memorial Scholarship. A portion of proceeds will be allocated to specific needs within the Morris Knolls community.
The event was renamed the Ryan Steidl Memorial MK5K to honor a Morris Knolls graduate and athlete who was injured while training for the MK5K and later died from those injuries.
