Ryan Steidl Memorial MK5K Run/Walk
The event is the 22nd Annual Ryan Steidl Memorial MK5K Run/Walk. It takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Denville, NJ. The race start is in the parking lot across from Saint Clare's Hospital at 25 Pocono Road.
The event includes several 5K run/walk options with different entry fees:
- Ryan Steidl Memorial MK5K Run/Walk ($35)
- 5K Run/Walk for Morris Knolls students, staff, and alumni only ($25)
- 5K Run/Walk for participants under 18 ($15)
- 5K Run/Walk for USATF-NJ members ($27)
Registration for all events ends on April 26, 2026. All registrants who sign up before the deadline will receive a race T-shirt. Proceeds benefit the Morris Knolls Baseball Booster scholarship program, the Morris Knolls baseball team, and the Ryan Steidl Memorial Scholarship. A portion of the proceeds will also be allocated to specific needs within the Morris Knolls community.
The event honors Ryan Steidl, a 2006 Morris Knolls High School graduate, athlete, and former participant in the MK5K. The race was renamed in his memory to remember his life and promote runner safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
