Ryan Lambert Memorial 5K : event overview
The Ryan Lambert Memorial 5K is a fundraising event held in Bowers Beach, Delaware on June 13, 2026. The event raises awareness and funds to support Vietnam veteran programs throughout Delaware and the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness. The course is a 3.11 mile out-and-back route on paved roads in Bowers Beach, described as fast and flat. Chip timing will be used and race bibs are to be worn on the front. Awards are given overall and by age groups for the 5K and top overall walk awards; age-group categories cover youth through 70 and over.
Parking will be at Clifton Cubbage Drive with volunteer directions. The event follows course and safety guidelines: participants must stay on the marked course, and bicycles and non-registered runners are not permitted to pace registered participants.
