RVA Mile (Regency Mile)
The RVA Mile, also known as the Regency Mile, is a road race event held at Regency Square Mall in Henrico, Virginia. The event includes mile races for youth and adults plus a 400 m Express Run for very young children. It offers both in-person and virtual participation options and a fall festival with candy, games, and sponsor activities.
The course is entirely closed to traffic and encircles Regency Square Mall. Races are organized into heats or waves by age and gender. Participants are assigned to heats at registration and must run in their assigned heat to preserve accurate timing and award eligibility. There is an Elite Wave run in an equalizer format where women start first followed shortly by men; the first person across the finish wins the top prize.
