Rutland Night 10K
The Rutland Night 10K is an evening sports event held at Rutland Water. The course follows a 10 km illuminated route along the shoreline of the reservoir. The event is staged over three consecutive nights, with specific categories designated for each date:
- 10 km Walk: Held on Thursday
- 10 km Run: Held on Friday and Saturday
The event starts and finishes near Normanton Church. Participants follow a path that is lit for the duration of the activity. The minimum age for entry is 12 years old for general registration, though specific age requirements for the main distances are set at 16.
Participants receive a race pack by post containing a timing chip and a personalized race number. The event provides on-course hydration and professional medical support. Results are compiled in a comprehensive table available immediately after the finish. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal. For those participating in the running categories on Friday and Saturday, prizes are awarded to the top three men and women.
