Rutabaga Festival Run/Walk
The Rutabaga Festival Run/Walk is held as part of the Rutabaga Festival in Cumberland, Wisconsin. The event has been held for over 40 years and includes multiple distance options that use streets near downtown Cumberland and the shores of Beaver Dam Lake.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 2 mile walk
- 5K timed course through Cumberland's downtown
- Half marathon scenic route around Beaver Dam Lake
Trophies are awarded to the top male and female finishers in both the Half Marathon and the 5K. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each of several age groups for both the Half Marathon and the 5K; age groups range from 12 and under up to 70 and over.
Course maps are provided for the Half Marathon and the Fun Run. Registration takes place at Cumberland High School. Awards are presented at the festival entertainment area.
