Turtle Lake Turtle Trot - Turtle Lake, WI
The Turtle Lake Turtle Trot is the 46th annual community run and walk held during Turtle Lake Inter County Fair week in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. The event offers multiple distances and community activities organized by the Turtle Lake Lioness Club with partial sponsorship from the Village of Turtle Lake Lioness Tourism Commission.
Runners and walkers can choose among the following distances:
- 10 km (6.2 miles)
- 2 miles run
- 2 miles walk
Registration opens February 28. The preregistration fee is $25 for entries received before the day of the event; the entry fee increases to $30 after that. Online registration and race day registration are both mentioned in the event notes; race day registration is handled at St Ann's Center. Payment by check is accepted payable to the Turtle Lake Lioness Club.
Awards are distributed by age group: ten age groups for the 2 mile run/walk and nine age groups for the 10K race. A pancake breakfast is offered as part of the event and is supported by a free will donation.
