Rustic Run 5K Run/Walk
The Rustic Run events take place in Hinman Park near the pavilion shelter in Glenwood City, WI, during the town festival weekend of Rustic Lore Days on September 12, 2026. The program includes races for adults and children and is organized as a set of separate heats for the kids.

- 3.1 miles (5K)
- 1 mile (1 Miler)
- 200 m / 400 m (Kids Races, two heats)
The 5K and 1 Miler use paved trail and paved roadways. The Kids Races run in a grassy area around the Hinman Park playground in a loop course that starts and finishes by the Hinman Park shelter. The kids event is held in two heats: ages 3–6 run 200 meters (one lap around the playground) and ages 7–10 run 400 meters (two laps). Running strollers are welcome; pets are not permitted.
Registration opens May 1 and closes September 11. The registration fee for the 5K and 1 Miler is $35; the Kids Races are free. Race day registration is available and accepts cash only. T-shirt orders are available with online registration and close August 31; trucker hats will be available for purchase on race day. Participants will receive refreshments at the finish.
