Rush Creek Stampede : Cambridge, Idaho
The Rush Creek Stampede is the 16th annual running event held on October 10, 2026 in the Rush Creek area near Cambridge, Idaho. The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon
The course runs through hilly, scenic terrain with Cuddy Mountain visible from parts of the route. Check-in and primary parking are located at Cambridge Elementary School on Highway 71, with overflow parking available at the high school. After check-in, buses transport participants to the starting line.
Water stations are located at approximately 1.5, 2.8, 4.0, 6.0, 8.3, 9.5 and 11.2 miles; the return loop reverses the first three stations. Porta-potties are available at each water station. Registration before September 10 qualifies for a free event T-shirt.
The event has supported local schools for 16 years and directs all proceeds to the Upper Country Education Foundation. Award medals are produced by students in the Cambridge High School metal shop.
