Ruralco Longbeach Coastal Challenge 2026
The Ruralco Longbeach Coastal Challenge takes place on Sunday, November 29, 2026 in Tinwald, Ashburton, New Zealand at 1754 Longbeach Road. The event includes mountain biking, running, walking and a duathlon, with options for individual and team entries. It is organized by Longbeach School and Hinds and Districts Lions Club and this edition is the nineteenth annual event. Proceeds support the local community.
The programme offers multiple distance options and formats, including separate categories for juniors, schools, and e-bikes. A schools team cycling race returns for the third year. The duathlon is held for the third year and includes a team option where one member cycles and the other runs. Entry fees vary by event and age category.
