Ruralco Longbeach Coastal Challenge 2026
The Ruralco Longbeach Coastal Challenge is scheduled for Sunday, November 29, 2026, at 1754 Longbeach Road, Tinwald, Ashburton, New Zealand. The event offers a range of mountain biking, running, walking and duathlon formats over several distances.
Organised by Longbeach School together with the Hinds and Districts Lions Club, this is the event's 19th annual running. The programme includes both individual and team options, a schools team cycling race for years 5 to 8, and a team duathlon option where one person cycles and another runs. Proceeds from the event support the local community.

- 35 km MTB
- 23 km MTB
- 23 km MTB EBike
- 12 km MTB Family
- 21 km run (half marathon)
- 12 km run
- 12 km walk
- 5 km fun run/walk
- Duathlon 35 km bike and 12 km run
- Schools team cycling race for years 5 to 8
