Event overview
Leading Edge Physiotherapy RunWild is scheduled for the weekend of May 2 and 3, 2026. The event will mark its 15th year. Main events on May 3 take place in St. Albert. Races on the St. Albert weekend include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
- WildOnes Kids MaraFun (children)
The 10K course starts at St. Albert Place, follows Mission Ave and McKenney Ave, then continues on trails past Giroux Road to Deer Ridge Drive. The 5K permits strollers. The WildOnes Kids MaraFun is aimed at children ages 4 to 12 and uses a format that allows young participants to complete a first marathon experience.
Satellite WildOnes MaraFun events will be held in Sherwood Park and Spruce Grove on May 2, 2026.
Race village, community and beneficiaries
The event includes a Race Village with a kids’ fun zone, live entertainment, food and beverages. Volunteer and donation options are listed. Beneficiaries named include the Zebra Child Protection Centre, the St. Albert Seniors Association and Child Advocacy Centres across Alberta.
