Event details
The Keene Runway 5K takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport, 80 Airport Road, Swanzey, NH 03446. This is the second annual edition of the event. The event is organized as a run/walk and has an entry price of $35. Registration opens on January 7, 2026 at 8:22 AM EST. The airport runway will be closed off for 90 minutes for the event.
Prizes and on-site activities
The race benefits the Keene Senior Center. First-place prizes for the fastest woman and man include a $100 gift card to a local restaurant. Additional prizes include two free flying lessons from Monadnock Aviation and other items awarded through a random drawing for registered participants. A raffle will offer prizes valued up to $1,000, including an Airplane Discovery Flight and a helicopter ride provided by Monadnock Choppers.
The Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport will host an Open House after the 5K. The Open House will offer airplane and helicopter viewings, family-friendly activities, and food trucks.
