Run/Walk 4 Nimo
Run/Walk 4 Nimo is organized by the Akanimo Cancer Foundation at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, SC on June 12, 2027. The event raises awareness and funds for childhood cancer research and family support programs and benefits the foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Funds raised support childhood cancer research initiatives, treatment access for children with cancer, family assistance programs, comfort boxes and care packages, grocery support for families, and awareness campaigns. Packet pickup is available on race morning at the check-in table near the start/finish and bibs are assigned at check-in. Parking is available at the University of South Carolina Upstate; organizers recommend allowing time for parking and check-in.
Awards are timed by chip and include top overall finishers. The event proceeds regardless of typical weather conditions unless severe weather makes the course unsafe; registrations are final and nonrefundable. Every participant receives a T-shirt and a finisher medal. The Kids Fun Run is designed to involve children and promote compassion and community awareness among young participants.
