RUN Battersea Park 10K
RUN Battersea Park 10K is a 10 kilometre race held in Battersea Park, next to the Bandstand, postcode SW11 4NG. The course loops around the park on pancake flat, well paved paths and passes trees, gardens and views of the River Thames. The route is described as peaceful and suitable for a range of paces, with spectators positioned along parts of the course.
The event provides chip timing with results posted as runners cross the finish. All finishers receive a medal. Finish zone refreshments include water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. A free baggage drop area will be available; this area is cordoned but participants are advised not to leave valuables. Public toilets are located near the start and finish areas. An official race photographer will be present on the course.
A medical team will be positioned at the start area and around the course. A group warm up of about ten minutes is scheduled shortly before the race.
