RUN Battersea Park 10K Winter
RUN Battersea Park is presented as a 10K race that follows a loop around Battersea Park, next to the Bandstand (Post Code SW11 4NG). The course is described as pancake flat with well-paved paths and runs beside trees, gardens and views of the River Thames. The route is designed to pass spectators and other participants along the way.
Finishers receive a medal and post-race refreshments including water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. Chip timing is used and finishing times are posted as soon as a participant crosses the finish line. An official race photographer will be on the course.
Event facilities include a free baggage drop area that will be cordoned off though storing valuables is discouraged, and public toilets near the start and finish area. A medical team will be located at the start area and around the course. A pre-race warm up of about ten minutes will take place shortly before the race start.
