RunThrough USA Druid Hill Park 5K and 10K : Baltimore
The event is the second edition of the RunThrough USA Druid Hill Park races, held in Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, Maryland. The park is described as Baltimore’s first large municipal park with tree-lined paths and open green spaces, providing a scenic setting for running.
Runners can choose between two distances:
- 5K (3.1 mile loop)
- 10K
The course is clearly signed and well marshalled, with each kilometre marked by distance flags. Chip timing is used for results. Included with entry are a unique themed medal, post-race goodies, and free race photos. Friendly marshals guide and cheer participants along the route.
An event village is planned with food and drink options and free items from partner organisations at the finish. There is an option to purchase an event t-shirt at a discounted price when bought as part of the entry. The organiser states a focus on sustainability and that additional event information will be provided to entrants before the race.
