Phelps Luck 5K and Fun Run

The Phelps Luck 5K and Fun Run takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Long Reach High School, 6101 Old Dobbin Lane, Columbia, MD 21045. It is the 10th annual event sponsored by the Phelps Luck PTA. Proceeds from the event will support Phelps Luck Elementary School’s PTA.

Event options include:

5K on Long Reach High School cross country course with grass and pavement.
Fun Run 20-minute lap event run on grass; strollers allowed.

All race participants receive a T-shirt. The 5K follows the school's cross country course, combining grass and paved surfaces. The Fun Run challenges participants to complete as many laps as they can in 20 minutes and is held on grass. Children under 18 must register and be accompanied by an adult. Strollers are permitted only in the Fun Run and are not allowed on the 5K course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
