Carsington Water Half Marathon and 10k
The Carsington Water Trail Half Marathon and 10k take place on 26 June 2027 at Carsington Water, Big Lane, Ashbourne DE6 1ST, UK. Both races follow an undulating trail route around the reservoir with waterside paths and countryside views. The half marathon route lists an elevation gain of 200 m. A GPX file is provided for navigation.

Entries include a themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies and a bag drop. Routes are waymarked with trail flags, tags, A5 arrows and signage; marshals are positioned at major junctions. Water is available at the 10k 5 km point and at miles 3, 6 and 9 on the half marathon, with additional water at the finish. Toilets are located behind the visitor centre and at the 10k start car park.
Event logistics note a secure baggage marquee with a tag system and specific race pack collection windows. The event village offers food and drink and space for spectators; the finish for both races is in the main event village. The site parking uses number plate recognition and charges apply: Visitor Centre Car Park £3 for two hours or £5 for the day, Millfields Car Park £2.50 for two hours or £4 for the day.
