The Carsington Water Half Marathon & 10k takes place on Saturday 27 June 2026 at Carsington Water, Big Lane, Ashbourne DE6, UK. The event offers two race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
Entry fees listed for the event are: 10K £30, Half Marathon £34, and a RunThrough Foundation place (no fundraising required) £80.
Course and race services
Both races use trail paths around Carsington Water on an undulating route. The half marathon is an out-and-back plus one full loop of the reservoir. The 10K covers almost one full loop. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals will guide and cheer on course.
Race entries include official chip-timed results, free event photographs, post-race goodies, and a bespoke event medal. GPX files are available for both the 10K and half marathon courses. The event village offers food and drink options and free partner goodies at the finish. Volunteers are invited to assist with event tasks such as managing stalls and handing out medals.
