Event overview
The RAM 5-mile is a city-centre road race in Derby scheduled for Sunday 28 June 2026. The race starts and finishes at Silk Mill Park / Cathedral Green, close to Derby Cathedral, and shares the same start and finish as the Ramathon. The route follows the half marathon course for the first 2 miles through the city centre, then continues toward Pride Park Stadium before returning to Silk Mill Park.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. Run For All states it encourages people of all abilities to take part. Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt, and an exclusive finisher’s medal.
On the day and practical information
An Event Village will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. A designated Baggage Store is provided; participants should use the tear-off strip on their race number and tie it to the bag handle before check-in. Water stations on course will provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins. Pacers, sponsored by Arla Protein, will be on course with flagged finish times.
Toilets are located around the stadium area. Medical personnel will be available at regular intervals, with fixed first aid stations near water points and a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish.
