RAM 5 Mile
The RAM 5 Mile is a road running event scheduled for Sunday 28 June 2026 in Derby. The race uses the same start and finish locations as the Ramathon, with the start line at Silk Mill Park close to Derby Cathedral. The course follows the half marathon route: it runs through the city centre for the first two miles, continues toward Pride Park Stadium, then returns to finish at Silk Mill Park.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. The event offers chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive finisher’s medal and the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be available on course with flags showing target finish times.
Event facilities include an Event Village with food and drink vendors and partner charities, a designated baggage store, toilet facilities around the stadium area, and marshals positioned on course. Water stations supply 330ml bottles and recycling bins are provided at each water station. Medical personnel and fixed first aid stations are located on the route, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish.
Sustainability measures include collection points for unwanted trainers and provision of bins across the event site. Photos will be taken on course and results will be published in the event results section after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
