RAM 5 Mile
The RAM 5 Mile is a city-centre road race in Derby taking place on Sunday 28 June 2026. The event starts and finishes at Silk Mill Park near Cathedral Green and follows the same initial streets as the Ramathon half marathon for the first two miles. After the city-centre section, the course leads toward Pride Park Stadium before returning to Silk Mill Park for the finish.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day. The entry package includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive finisher’s medal, and the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt. Baggage storage is available with a tear-off strip to attach to bags.
On course there will be water stations supplying 330 ml bottles and recycling bins at each water station. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. Toilets will be located around the stadium area. Medical personnel and first aid stations will be positioned at regular intervals on the course and near the start and finish.
An Event Village will offer food and drink vendors and host partner charities. MarathonPhotos will take photographs on course. The event includes sustainability measures such as recycling bins on course and a JogOn shoe drop-off for unwanted trainers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
