Event
The RAM 5 Mile takes place on Sunday 28 June 2026 in Derby. The race distance is 5 miles and uses the same start and finish as the Ramathon, beginning and ending at Silk Mill Park / Cathedral Green near Derby Cathedral. The course runs through the city centre for the first 2 miles, then heads toward Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium before returning to Silk Mill Park. Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day.
Practical information
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, the option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt, and an exclusive finisher’s medal. An Event Village will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. Baggage must be checked into the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number tied to the bag handle; competitors are advised to reclaim bags after the race.
There will be water stations on course providing 330 ml bottles and recycling bins at each water station. Pacers with flags, sponsored by Arla Protein, will be on the course. Toilets will be located around the stadium; the organiser operates a zero-tolerance policy for urination outside allocated facilities. Medical personnel and first aid stations will be available on the course and near the start and finish.
