Ramathon
The Ramathon is a half marathon event held in Derby. First organized in 2018, the race follows a fast and flat course that begins and ends at Silk Mill Park. The route takes participants through the city, passing notable landmarks such as Derby Cathedral and the Florence Nightingale monument.
The course continues down London Road, leading runners past Elvaston Castle Park and Pride Park Stadium before returning to the start line. A vibrant atmosphere is supported by the presence of a 5-mile race taking place on the same day. Entrants must be at least 15 years old to participate.

- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 5 Mile (approx. 8 km)
Registered participants receive chip timing, an exclusive finisher's medal, and a goody bag. There is an option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and an iTAB for medal engraving. The event village provides a baggage store, various food and drink options, and access to partner charities.
The course features fixed water stations providing 330ml bottles, alongside energy stations offering isotonic drinks and gels. To help participants reach their goals, pacers are available on the course for specific finish times. Medical support is positioned at fixed stations and near the finish line.
