Event Overview
The Ramathon is a popular half marathon organized by Run For All. It was first held in 2018 and attracts thousands of participants, raising significant funds for charities.
Route
The event starts and finishes at Silk Mill Park near Derby Cathedral. The course is described as fast and flat. It passes Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park, and the scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park.
Participant Information

- Entrants must be 17 years or older on the event day.
On the Day
An Event Village will have food and drink available for purchase. Services include:
- Chip timing.
- A finisher's goody bag, medal, and an optional technical finisher t-shirt.
- Water stations and Applied Nutrition energy stations on the course.
- A designated Baggage Store.
- Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein.
- Medical first aid stations on the course and in the village.
- Photos available for purchase from Marathon Photos.
Sustainability
The event encourages environmental responsibility with recycling bins at water stations. A partnership with JogOn allows runners to donate old trainers at drop-off stations in the Event Village.
Training and Travel
Training plans are available via Coopah, and local training sessions are offered through the #DerbyRunnerRunClub. Parking is available at several Derby City Council car parks for a fee, and the city is accessible by train, bus, and is near East Midlands Airport.
