Ramathon
Ramathon is a half marathon organised by Run For All. The event has attracted thousands of runners and supports fundraising for partner charities. It was first run by Run For All in 2018.
The course starts and finishes at Silk Mill Park close to Derby Cathedral and passes Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park and Elvaston Castle Country Park. The organisers describe the course as fast and flat. Entrants must be 17 years or older on event day.
Included for participants are chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive finisher's medal. There is an option to purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and to have a medal engraved with iTAB. Photographers will be on course and results are published after the event.
On course services include water stations providing 330 ml bottles, High5 energy stations with Zero tabs and gels, and recycling bins at water stations. A baggage store is available using the tear off strip from the race number. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing finish times. Medical personnel and first aid stations are located along the course with a first aid unit and recovery area near the finish. An Event Village offers food and drink vendors and space for partner charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
