The event is a set of mass-participation runs held in Battersea Park, London, offering three timed distances on a flat, tarmac course that runs within the park grounds. The course starts and finishes inside the park and is waymarked with arrows and distance signs. Marshals are positioned around the route to guide participants, including at points where different distances diverge and rejoin.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Entries include a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies and a bag-drop service. Water stations are positioned on every lap and a bottle of water is provided at the finish line. An event village is provided with toilets, food and drink from partners, and a warm-up is organised before each race.
Accessibility and rules: buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome; participants should be mindful of others when overtaking. Minimum ages apply: 11 for the 5K, 15 for the 10K and 17 for the Half Marathon. There is no set cut-off time, though participants expecting to take over three hours should contact the organiser in advance due to park restrictions.
Transport and parking information notes limited paid car parking within the park and good access by train and tube, with nearby stations including Battersea Power Station, Queenstown Road and Clapham Junction. An optional event t-shirt is available for an additional fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
