Runtastic HAUNTED Provo Half Marathon, 5K & Kids Run : Provo, Utah
The event is a Halloween themed race day on October 31, 2026, with a finish area at Qualtrics, 5102 N 300 W, Provo, Utah. It offers multiple distances:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles down Provo Canyon
- 5K
- Kids Run: approximately 0.5 miles
The Half Marathon route travels down Provo Canyon, passes through the Spook Alley tunnel, a themed haunted forest and a graveyard, and finishes under a large inflatable pumpkin arch at the Qualtrics finish area. A costume contest is held at the Half Marathon start line with awards for best male, female, and group costumes. Finisher medals with a spider theme and award medals are part of the finish line celebration.
Race logistics include bus transportation to the Half Marathon start; the organizer states there is no self-transportation to the start. A bag drop is provided only at the Half Marathon start and bags are retrieved at the finish. Packet pick up and the race expo are scheduled the day before the race at a to be announced location and require photo ID.
Aid stations are placed along the course and provide Re-Lyte, water, GU where listed, porta-potties, and a first aid kit. Professional chip timing is used with timing chips attached to bibs; overall results are based on gun time while age group awards use chip time.
