Runtastic Provo HAUNTED Half Marathon, 5K & Kids Run
The event is a Halloween themed race set at Qualtrics, 5102 N 300 W, Provo, Utah on October 31, 2026. It offers three distances:
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles
- 5K
- Kids Run : half-mile
The Half Marathon runs down Provo Canyon and passes through themed elements including the Spook Alley tunnel, a haunted forest, and a graveyard before finishing under a large inflatable pumpkin arch. A costume contest is held at the Half Marathon start line, and finisher medals are designed with a creepy-crawly spider motif. Swag for 2026 will be announced closer to the event.
Transportation to the Half Marathon start requires event buses; self-transportation to the start is not permitted. A bag drop is provided at the Half Marathon start; bags issued at packet pickup must display the runner bib number for retrieval at the finish. Race morning packet pickup is limited and a late fee may apply.
Aid stations on the Half Marathon are located at miles 2.5, 4.2, 6.5, 8.8, and 11 and provide water and electrolytes; GU is available at miles 4.2 and 8.8. The 5K has an aid station at mile 1. Timing chips are attached to bibs; overall awards are determined by gun time and age group awards by chip time. Free race photos will be taken throughout the event.
