Runtastic HAUNTED Provo : Half Marathon, 5K & Kids Run
The event takes place on October 31, 2026, with the finish area at Qualtrics, 5102 N 300 W, Provo, Utah. The program includes three race distances and themed course elements such as a Spook Alley tunnel, a haunted forest, a skeleton graveyard, and a large inflatable pumpkin at the finish. A costume contest is held at the Half Marathon start line and prizes are awarded for top costumes.
Distances:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles down Provo Canyon.
- 5K: 3.1 miles, course near the finish area.
- Kids Run: 0.5 miles, finishes at the same festival area.
Logistics include an expo and packet pick-up on the day before the race; a photo ID is required for packet collection. Half Marathon runners are transported to the start by bus from a designated loading area; self-transportation to the start is not permitted. A bag drop is available at the Half Marathon start and pick-up is at a finish-area location. Aid stations on the half marathon course supply Re-Lyte, water, and GU at specified mile markers. Bibs include timing chips provided by Laurel; overall awards use gun time and age group awards use chip time. Free race photos are taken along the course and at the finish.
