Runtastic HAUNTED Provo
The event on October 31, 2026 in Provo, Utah, offers three timed races that follow a Halloween theme and finish at the Qualtrics parking area on 5102 N 300 W. The races include a downhill half marathon through Provo Canyon and shorter runs for adults and children.
The program includes:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles down Provo Canyon
- 5K: a short morning road race
- Kids Run: approximately a half mile for young participants
The half marathon route passes through the Spook Alley tunnel, a themed forest section, and an area described as a skeleton graveyard, finishing under a large inflatable pumpkin arch. Aid stations along the courses provide hydration, Re-Lyte, and GU at designated miles. A bag drop is available at the half marathon start; bags are retrieved at the finish.
Race timing is performed with chips attached to bibs. Overall awards use gun time; age group awards use chip time. Pacers are provided for multiple finishing times. A costume contest takes place at the half marathon start line and award ceremonies recognize the top three overall and top age group finishers for the half and 5K.
