Event Overview
The Runtastic Haunted Provo Canyon event offers a half marathon, 5K, and Kids Run on Halloween (October 31). It takes place in Provo, Utah, with the finish line at the Qualtrics venue.

Course Details
The half marathon course goes down Provo Canyon, passes through a Spook Alley tunnel, and goes by a haunted forest and a graveyard before finishing under a giant pumpkin arch. Participants are bused to the start line at Big Springs Park; self-transportation is not allowed. The 5K starts southwest of the finish line, and the Kids Run starts north of the finish line in a parking lot.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at an expo. Race-day pickup incurs a fee. A bag drop service is provided for the half marathon start. Parking is available around the Qualtrics finish line area. Pacers are provided for the half marathon.
Amenities and Activities
The event includes a costume contest at the half marathon start line with prizes. Participants receive a finisher medal described as a "creepy-crawly spider medal." Free race photos are provided. The finish area features live music, post-race food and drinks, and sponsor/vendor booths.
Aid Stations and Timing
Aid stations along the courses offer water, electrolytes, and porta-potties. GU energy gels are available at two stations for half marathon runners. The event is chip-timed. Results are displayed on-site and published online.
Awards
Overall and age group awards are given for all three races. Awards are presented on a stage at scheduled times. Course record holders for the half marathon and 5K can win prize money. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
