Runtastic HAUNTED Provo
Runtastic HAUNTED Provo is a Halloween-themed running event in Provo, Utah, with multiple race distances that use a common finish area at the Qualtrics site, 5102 N 300 W. The half marathon follows a 13.1 miles downhill route through Provo Canyon, passing the Spook Alley tunnel, a haunted forest, and a graveyard scene before finishing under a large inflatable pumpkin arch. The 5K follows a shorter route and includes a costume element. The Kids Run is a half-mile course that finishes at the same finish line area as the other races.
Race logistics include a packet pick-up expo the day before the event where runners can collect bibs, shirts, and race bags. A bag drop is available only at the half marathon start; participants are asked not to leave valuables in drop bags and to attach their bib tag to the provided bag. Half marathon starters must use the event buses to reach the start; self-transport to the start is not allowed and missed bus transport may forfeit entry.
Aid stations on the half marathon course are located at Miles 2.5, 4.2, 6.5, 8.8, and 11 and provide Re-Lyte, water, and GU at specified stations. Timing chips are attached to bibs and overall awards and age group awards are presented for the half and 5K races.
