Runtastic HAUNTED Provo
The event on October 31, 2026 takes place in Provo, Utah with the finish area at Qualtrics, 5102 N 300 W. It comprises multiple timed races over a shared finish and celebration area.
Distances and formats include:
- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles down Provo Canyon through Spook Alley, haunted forest, graveyard.
- 5K: a short course with a strong costume focus.
- Kids Run: roughly half a mile finishing at the same line.
The half marathon course runs downhill through Provo Canyon and passes a tunnel called Spook Alley, themed wooded sections, and an inflatable pumpkin arch at the finish. The morning 5K and the Kids Run use the finish area for the same post-race celebration and awards.
Event logistics include packet pick-up the day before the race, a bag drop available at the half marathon start with pickup at the finish, and bus transportation required to reach the half start; self-transport to the half start is not permitted. Aid stations on the half course provide Re-Lyte, water, and GU at several mile markers. Bibs include timing chips and overall awards are determined by gun time while age group awards use chip time.
