RunSedona : Sedona, Arizona
RunSedona features three race distances that pass through Sedona's red rock landscape. The event includes a half marathon, a 10K, and a 5K run and walk. The 10K and half marathon use out-and-back routes on Dry Creek Road. The half marathon is a 13.1 mile out-and-back course with varied uphill and downhill sections. The 5K route permits strollers and is presented as suitable for walkers and small groups.
Entries include timed results with professional chip timing and live results, complimentary race photos, a race shirt, and a reusable or branded race cup. Participants receive post-race snacks and access to a post-race expo with local Sedona food trucks, vendors, and exhibitors. The event offers a free shuttle ticket for race day and awards to the top three overall finishers in male, female, and nonbinary divisions, plus awards to the top three finishers in standard age groups at each distance. The event has a course limit of five hours.
The 2027 running marks the 22nd anniversary of RunSedona and takes place in February. February in Sedona is described as having smaller crowds, lower lodging rates, and daytime temperatures commonly in the 50s to 60s Fahrenheit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
