RunSedona : races through Sedona red rock country
RunSedona is a multi-distance road race held every February in Sedona, Arizona. The event routes run through the region's red rock scenery and include pavement sections along Dry Creek Road for some distances. It offers timed and supported race services and a post event expo with local food vendors.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon : 13.1 rolling miles along Dry Creek Road through red rock country.
- 10K : out-and-back on Dry Creek Road with frequent red-rock views.
- 5K and 5K walk : scenic 5K route that welcomes strollers, walkers, and runners.
Event services and inclusions are presented consistently across distances. These include professional chip timing with live results, race photos, a Dri-Fit participant shirt, a commemorative finisher medal, a reusable race cup, and complimentary post race snacks. The event provides free shuttle service to and from the starting area and on-course support at aid stations. A post race expo features local food trucks, vendors, and exhibitors.
Awards are given to the top three overall in male, female, and non-binary categories, plus the top three finishers in each age group for each distance.
