RunPA Trail Jamboree
RunPA Trail Jamboree is a multi-day trail event held at Camp Mack in Newmanstown, Pennsylvania. The program includes a night trail race, a set of endurance events that use a looped trail, and free kids races with two course options. The endurance events use chip timing for automatic lap counting; the night trail race is manually timed. The endurance loop is described as roughly 3.4 to 3.5 miles and combines single track, double track, roots, rocks, grassy fields, and short sections of dirt and stone road.
Camping is available on site at no extra cost with space for tents and small campers; basic bathroom facilities and a limited number of showers are available. A main aid station at the start and finish will supply water, electrolytes and energy bars; endurance runners are expected to be largely self sufficient on course. Pacers may join runners after the first loop and must register separately; pacers are not eligible for race prizes. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers in the endurance events and for the night race, and endurance participants receive a RunPA finishers award. The event is organized by RunPA and is not affiliated with the BSA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
