Middle Creek Wild Goose Chase 5K Run/Walk and 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Race
The event is a community road race held on Middle Creek property near Kleinfeltersville, PA. It features a main 5K run or walk and a short kids fun race for younger participants. Registration is located at the Willow Point Trail parking area on Hopeland Road and is close to the race start; registration is not at the visitors center.
Distances:
- 5K Run/Walk on Middle Creek property, easy out and back road
- 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Race for age 12 and under, preregistration preferred
The 5K course runs on property roads with partial to little shade; walkers are welcome and the road is closed for the race. Amenities for preregistered participants include a T-shirt for 5K preregistrants and goodie bags for preregistered kids; shirts and goodie bags are available while supplies last. Finishers receive refreshments, and a time clock and instant results are used.
Awards include large framed wildlife prints for overall male and female winners, smaller framed prints for first place in age groups, and medals for the top three male and female in each listed age group. There are no awards for the kids race. Entry fees are listed with an early postmark rate and a higher later rate; the kids fun run is free with preferred preregistration.
