Middle Creek Wild Goose Chase 5K Run/Walk and 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Race
The Pennsylvania Game Commission presents a road running event at Middle Creek, held at the Willow Point Trail parking area on Hopeland Road near the Middle Creek wildlife drive entrance, about one mile north of the visitors center in Kleinfeltersville, PA.

The 5K is an easy out-and-back road course entirely on Middle Creek property. Walkers are welcome and the road is closed for the event. The course has partial to little shade. Registration is located at the Willow Point Trail parking area near the race start rather than at the visitors center.
Amenities include a T-shirt for all preregistrants of the 5K, a goodie bag for preregistered kids (no T-shirts for the kids race), refreshments for finishers, a time clock at the finish, and instant results. The event is held rain or shine. There are no refunds or mailed awards and shirts or goodie bags are available while supplies last.
Entry fees are $25 if postmarked by August 7, 2026, and $35 thereafter including the day of the event. The kids fun race is free but preregistration is preferred. Awards consist of a large framed wildlife print for the overall male and female winners, smaller framed prints for age group first places, and medals for the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. No awards are given for the kids race. All proceeds benefit wildlife education and habitat management at Middle Creek. Payment by check is made payable to Pennsylvania Game Commission and mailed to MCWMA PO Box 110, Kleinfeltersville PA 17039. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
