RUNorwalk : Norwalk, Iowa
RUNorwalk is a community running and walking event held at the McAninch Sports Complex, 200 Wright Rd, Norwalk, IA 50211. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Youth 5K Run or Walk (open to ages 1 to 11)
- 10K Run
- 2 Mile Walk
Chip timing is provided by True Time Racing Services. A kids fun run for ages eight and under takes place after the 5K and does not require registration; participants meet at the finish line. Packet pick up is available at the Norwalk Area Chamber Offices, 1043 Sunset Drive #4, on the days before the event and at the McAninch Sports Complex on race day.
A portion of event proceeds benefits the Norwalk Easter Public Library. To be guaranteed a RUNorwalk race shirt, registrations must meet the posted deadline of October 9, 2025. Entry fees listed for the main events are $30 for the 5K Run/Walk, $15 for the Youth 5K, and $40 for the 10K. Awards are given to first place male and female runners only across the listed age brackets, including 11 and under, 12 to 19, and decade brackets through 70 plus.
