Event
The 3 Valleys Runningworks Marathon takes place on Sunday, 6 September 2026 at Bickley Outdoor Recreation Camp, Hardinge Road, Orange Grove, Western Australia. Distances offered include:
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Team Relay (2-4 person teams)
Registration is non-refundable. Entries can be transferred to another participant, or transferred to another event for a $19 administration fee. Early bird registrations open 1 November 2025. Finisher medals are issued for marathon, half and team entries. Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are given in the Marathon, Half and 10K, with additional prizes for Team Relay winners.
Course, facilities and requirements
The event is a technical trail run featuring single-track sections, significant elevation gain, steep climbs and descents, and viewpoints including Victoria Dam Lookout. The organisers state a 7-hour cut-off time for all events; marathon runners who finish after that cut-off receive a half marathon medal.
On-site facilities mentioned include fire pit and BBQ areas, an on-site coffee van and showers at the camp. Mandatory gear for marathon, team and half entrants includes 500 ml fluids, a mobile phone and whistle, a snake or compression bandage, and a jacket or space blanket.
