Running With Padre 5K is a community running event held in Youngsville, Louisiana at 201 Church Street (St. Anne’s Church). The event includes the following distances:

Logistics, awards and purpose
Packet pickup is scheduled in the parish hall at 201 Church Street the day before the race from 2 to 6 PM; race-morning pickup is also available. A race t-shirt is offered for purchase at $10 each. A special discount is available for families of four or more; arrangements are handled by the event organizer.
The 5K uses age groups such as 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39 and continues by decade up to 70+. 5K awards include top three overall male and female finishers and first and second male and female in each age group. The 1 Mile awards include top overall male and female for 14 and under. The event has a no-refund policy; registrations may be considered donations if participants cannot attend.
