Event overview
Running Tribe Races take place at two venues in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire: Chalfont Park Sports Club (SL9 0QA) and Chalfont St. Peter Community Centre (SL9 9QX). The event uses either a 7 km or a 10 km loop. Participants choose on the day whether to stop at a shorter distance or continue to longer distances. Available distances include 7k, 10k, 14k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon, and Ultra Marathon options (up to 40 miles on one set of courses, up to 30 miles on the other).
Course and logistics
Course 1, 2, 3 features a 10.8 km loop that is about 80% trail and 20% road, using public footpaths and woods; six laps equal approximately 2,100 ft of climb. There is one aid station at the start/finish area offering water, soft drinks, and vegan and vegetarian food. The course is marked and road crossings are clearly indicated. Pacers are allowed at any stage. Medals are awarded to first, second and third places in the 7 km, 10 km, 14 km, Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon categories. All participants must be able to run or walk 7 km. Required kit includes a water bottle (minimum 500 ml), a fully charged mobile phone, and seasonal items such as a head torch in winter and warm clothing. At least one fully trained medic will be on standby. Crew members may be present along the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
