Running THE AVE 5K in Vineland
Running THE AVE is a community 5K held in Vineland, New Jersey, with its course centered on Landis Avenue and race operations based at 603 E Landis Avenue. The event has been held since 2019 and is presented in collaboration with Main Street Vineland and Second Capital Running. It is identified as the official race of Vineland’s Running Movement.
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and in age groups including 10 and under, 11–14, 15–19, and subsequent 10-year age bands through 70 and older. Special recognitions include awards for the fastest male, female, and kid from Vineland, plus a True Grit Award for the last place finisher. New stroller and racing chair divisions award the top three finishers in those categories.
Registration details note a reduced fee for participants 18 and under and that race day registration and payment are handled online via a QR code; cash and checks are not accepted. Packet pickup and race day registration are available, and registration closes shortly before the race start to allow for timely race operations.
