Pitman Freedom Four Miler Run : Pitman, NJ
The 45th annual Pitman Freedom Four Miler is an Independence Day road race held in Pitman, New Jersey. The event offers both an in-person 4-mile race and a virtual 4-mile option that must be completed by July 4, 2026. The course is an accurately measured 4-mile route through the town and is timed using chip timing.

Registration details include tiered online pricing: $30 before July 2 at 7:00pm, $35 after that through July 3, and a race day price of $40. The virtual event is priced at $12.50 with a shirt or $8.50 without a shirt. Mail-in registrations must be received by June 30, 2026. There will be no paper registration on race day; all participants must register online.
Packet pickup is available Friday, July 3 at Borough Hall, 110 South Broadway, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, with race day bib pickup at Borough Hall from 7:00am to 8:15am. Each runner receives a performance shirt. Prize awards include $100 to the first male and female overall and top-three awards by age group; age-group awards are mailed and only overall winners receive awards on race day. The course is not USATF certified. Broadway will be closed approximately 8:30am to 12:30pm for the run and the town parade. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
