Event overview
The Balic Wine Run is a chip-timed 5k taking place at Balić Winery in Mays Landing, New Jersey on June 27, 2026. The event is professionally timed by J3 Timing and results will be posted online at J3Timing.com. The charity partner for the event is Nik's Wish. Registration and race logistics
Registration opens December 22, 2025. Current price is $25 (previously listed at $50). The event is open to ages 1 to 99. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, results posted online, and a pour of wine. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but not a wine glass or wine pour. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be shipped for an additional shipping and handling charge.
Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in 10-year categories (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over). Awards must be picked up the day of the event at the registration table; there will be no award ceremony. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground. Dogs are allowed on a leash but are not permitted inside the winery building. Food and drinks will be offered at the winery after the race.
