Running Over Addiction : September 12, 2026
Running Over Addiction is the 11th annual event held to raise funds and awareness for the West Branch Drug & Alcohol Abuse Commission. The commission provides prevention, intervention, and treatment services for residents of Lycoming and Clinton counties. Community organizations that offer recovery-related services will table during the event.
The event is based at South Williamsport Park Complex, 545 E. Central Ave, South Williamsport, PA 17702. There are in-person and virtual options.

- 5K (in-person) : 3.1 miles
- Virtual 5K (complete anywhere in September) : 3.1 miles

- In-person registration fee is $30; virtual registration fee is $40.
- In-person registration opens May 15, 2026 and closes August 29, 2026.
- Virtual registration opens May 8, 2026 and closes September 9, 2026.
- Children age 10 and under may register for the 5K for free; the free registration does not include a shirt.
- Participants who register by midnight on August 20, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt with their registration.
- Virtual participants will be mailed a shirt after the event if they register before the shirt deadline; virtual participants are not eligible for awards.
- Awards will be given to the top three in-person finishers.
