Running Out Of Summer 5K 2026
Running Out Of Summer 5K is a charity race held on August 29, 2026, at 99 Valley Street, Spencer, Massachusetts. The event is hosted by the Rapscallion HOPS Foundation in partnership with Rapscallion Brewery & Taproom and supports local charitable initiatives driven by HOPS.
The race features a scenic, flat, and fast course along the Spencer Rail Trail. An after-party will take place at O'Gara Park. Entrants receive a custom super soft race shirt if registered by August 1, a small gift bag, and a drink token redeemable for a draught at any Rapscallion location; the token may be used at early packet pick up, on race day, or at a later time.
The event includes awards for overall winners, with a first overall male and first overall female recognized, plus awards for fastest and biggest teams. Additional awards will be given to the youngest and oldest runners. Second Chance Animal Services will bring an adoption van with adoptable dogs on site. Music will be provided during the event.
Standard registration for the 5K is listed at $40.10 for the period March 1 through August 28. An early bird price of $34.65 was listed for March 1 through April 20. Spencer Parks & Recreation is listed among the community partners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
