Running Out Of Summer 5K 2026
The Running Out Of Summer 5K takes place in Spencer, Massachusetts on August 29, 2026. The event is hosted by The Rapscallion HOPS Foundation together with Rapscallion Brewery & Taproom and supports local charitable initiatives run by HOPS.
The course runs along the Spencer Rail Trail and is described as scenic, flat, and fast. An after party follows the race at O'Gara Park, with music and on-site activities.
All entrants receive a custom super soft race shirt if registered by August 1, a small gift bag, and a drink token valid for a draught beer, spiked seltzer, or homemade root beer at any Rapscallion location. The drink token may be used at early packet pick up or saved for race day or any later visit. Second Chance Animal Services will bring an adoption van with adoptable dogs.
Awards are planned for first overall male and first overall female, as well as for teams and for the youngest and oldest runners. Listed registration for the 5K shows a price of $40.10 which reflects base entry plus processing fees; an early bird price of $34.65 was offered for a prior registration period.
