Running Out Of Summer 5K - Spencer, MA
The Running Out Of Summer 5K is a charity race hosted by Rapscallion Brewery & Taproom and the Rapscallion HOPS Foundation. The event takes place on August 29, 2026 at 99 Valley Street in Spencer, Massachusetts, and uses a scenic, flat course along the Spencer Rail Trail. An afterparty is planned at O'Gara Park.
All entrants receive a custom super soft race shirt if registered by August 1, plus a small gift bag and a drink token valid for any draught beverage at any Rapscallion location, including beer, spiked seltzer, or homemade root beer. The drink token may be used at early packet pick up on Friday night or saved for race day or a later visit.
The event includes awards for first overall male and first overall female, awards for fastest and biggest teams, team awards generally, and recognition for the youngest and oldest runners. Activities at the event include music and an appearance by the Second Chance Animal Services adoption van with adoptable dogs.
