Running Out Of Summer 5K 2026
The Running Out Of Summer 5K is a charity race hosted by the Rapscallion HOPS Foundation and Rapscallion Brewery and Taproom in Spencer, Massachusetts on August 29, 2026. The course runs along the Spencer Rail Trail and is described as scenic, flat, and fast. An after-party will take place at O'Gara Park.
All entrants receive a custom super soft race shirt if registered by August 1, a small gift bag, and a drink token valid for one draught drink at any Rapscallion location. The token may be used at early packet pick up on Friday night, on race day, or at any later time. The event includes music and an adoption van from Second Chance Animal Services with adoptable dogs on site.
Prizes will be awarded to the first overall male and first overall female, as well as awards for teams and for the youngest and oldest runners. Additional awards will recognize the fastest team and the biggest team.
The listed registration fee for the 5K is $40.10 (shown as $35 plus processing fees and taxes). The event is supported by Rapscallion Brewery and Taproom and the Rapscallion HOPS Foundation, with involvement from Spencer Parks and Recreation and Second Chance Animal Services.
