Race Information
US Road Running organizes this event in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, featuring multiple distance options for participants. The event takes place at 285 Meadowlark Dr, where runners can participate in a 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon. All participants are required to register through the RunSignup platform, as on-site registration is not available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the event and concludes 10 minutes prior to the start.
Course Layout
The courses follow an out-and-back format. The distances are achieved by completing a specific number of laps on these routes:
- 5K runners complete the 1.56-mile out-and-back course one time.
- 10K runners complete the 1.56-mile out-and-back course two times.
- Half Marathon runners complete a 1.64-mile out-and-back course four times.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies to all participants.
Participation and Awards
All finishers receive a medal for their participation. The event encourages a festive atmosphere by offering an award for the best costume, although wearing one is not mandatory.
