Running of the Bears 5K at Stratton
The event is a road race of 5K held on July 5, 2026 at Stratton Mountain Resort in Stratton, VT. Advance registration opens November 1, 2025 and closes on July 4, 2026. Advance registration has a fee of $45. Day of registration is available for a higher fee of $60 and may close early if the field fills. Check-in and day of registration take place in the Courtyard on race day.
The first 100 race participants receive a t-shirt. An awards presentation is held in the finish area later the same day. Overall male and female finishers each receive a $100 Stratton Gift Card. Age group awards are given to male and female finishers in the following age bands: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 52, 53 to 65, and 66 and over. Age group prizes are 1st prize $50 Stratton Gift Card, 2nd prize $25 Stratton Gift Card, and 3rd prize Stratton swag.
