Event Information
The Running of the Bears 5K is a running event scheduled for July 5, 2026, in Stratton, Vermont. The event takes place at Stratton Mountain Resort, located at 5 Village Lodge Road.
Registration
Advance registration costs $45, while day-of registration costs $60. Advance registration closes on July 4 at 7:00 PM. Day-of registration and check-in are available in the Courtyard from 7:30 AM until 8:15 AM, provided spots remain.
Participant Details
The first 100 participants to register receive a t-shirt. The event is open to ages 1 to 100.
Awards
An awards ceremony takes place in the finish area. Prizes are awarded to overall male and female finishers, as well as to the first male and female finisher in several age groups. Overall winners receive a $100 Stratton Gift Card each. Age group prizes include Stratton Gift Cards and merchandise. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
