Running GP Oulton Park
The Running GP Oulton Park takes place at the historic motor circuit in Cheshire. Used for professional motorsport since the 1950s, the venue offers a traffic-free environment for running events. The course consists entirely of smooth tarmac with gentle undulations throughout the circuit.
Participants can choose from a wide variety of distances, each involving a specific number of laps around the track:
- 5km: 1 lap
- 10km: 2 laps
- Half Marathon: 5 laps
- Metric Marathon: 6 laps
- 20 Mile: 7 laps
- Marathon: 10 laps
The event uses chip-timing to provide results for every runner. Each kilometre is indicated by distance flags, and marshals are stationed along the course to assist participants. The event village features various food and drink options, and participants receive post-race items upon completion.
Registration includes free professional race photos and a unique themed medal. Event t-shirts featuring the race logo are also available for purchase.
