Running for Success 5K Run/Walk 2027

Running for Success 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for May 30, 2027 in Brooklyn, New York. The course begins at Bay Parkway on the Shore Road Promenade and returns at a halfway loop, covering a 5K distance. The listed venue address is 8973 Bay Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11214.

Event amenities include an authentic Dri-Fit running shirt for participants, a ticket for a free slice of pizza at Pizza D’Amore, and I.S. 223 water bottles for the first 50 registrants. Crunch Fitness will lead a pre-race warmup. Participants receive live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib if registered three weeks in advance.

Awards are presented to the overall top finishers and to age-group top finishers. Overall awards include Top 1 M/F/X. Age-group awards for Top 3 M/F are given in these divisions: 10 and under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and over.

Proceeds will help send I.S. 223 runners to a weeklong sleepaway running camp in Swan Lake, NY in August. Registration is not yet open and is expected to open prior to the event date.
