About the race
Spooky Challenge Day 2 is a timed road event held on Sunday 31 October 2027 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ (what3words: ///miss.race.open). The event is a seven hour timed event on a measured course classified as Road and run entirely on tarmac along an old disused train line with an out and back layout.
Each lap measures 5.3 km. The event operates a Turn Up Get Going system that allows flexible starts within the organiser's permitted window; all participants must finish by the published cut-off time. The route is described as undulating.
Entry is limited to 75 entrants and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 30 October 2027. Permit number for the event is ARC.
Entry categories and listed fees are: Affiliated £32.00; Unattached £34.00; Affiliated No Perks (no medal or goodies) £21.00; Unattached No Perks (no medal or goodies) £23.00. Finishers who complete one or more laps within the permitted time are classed as finishers and may collect a medal; if the event reaches capacity, later entrants will receive a bespoke medal chosen from those available on the day.
