Spooky Challenge Day 1 2027
Spooky Challenge Day 1 takes place on Saturday 30 October 2027 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ. The event is organised by Running Events Devon and runs under permit number ARC.
This is a 7-hour timed event using a Turn Up Get Going (TUGG) system that allows participants to start at any time during the event's open period and complete as many laps as they can within the allotted time. Each lap is 5.3 km, an out-and-back route along a scenic line on an old disused train route. The course is accurately measured, classified as Road, and is run entirely on tarmac. The terrain is described as undulating.
All abilities may take part, whether walking or running, and anyone who completes at least one lap within the permitted time is classed as a finisher and may collect a medal. If the event reaches capacity, later entrants receive a bespoke medal chosen from those available on the day.
Entry categories and fees listed by the organiser include affiliated and unattached options, with no-perks (no medal or goodies) prices available.
